WEDNESDAY CHURCH NIGHT

Good Morning! Another Wednesday here! Back in the day, Wednesday meant, Mid-Week Evening Church Services. Now, how many churches even have a mid-week service? I needed them to help get me through the rest of the week! It was hard to go and I had to make myself go, (just like I do now), but was always so glad I did. I was usually Blessed (depending on how much I put into receiving from the service!) and it gave me the strength to make it to Sunday! If you do attend a church with mid-week service, then I challenge you to attend and take part and allow the Lord to Minister to you! If not, then attend a church that does. It won’t hurt to attend a different church that feeds you Spiritually one time a week!! Have a very BLESSED and SAFE WEDNESDAY!

PUTTING GOD ON THE SHELF!!!

If you were to say to me, “Do you put GOD on the shelf”, my first response would be NO!!! I would NEVER put GOD on the shelf!!! Guess what???? I did just that last week!!! I can’t believe I did that!

Last week, actually, last several weeks, I wanted to spend time in fasting and praying and seeking the Lord during this very Holy Season. I kept telling myself that.

I have several bookcases filled with books and I NEVER pay much attention to them and only get in a mood every once in a great while. Mostly in the winter months or whenever I don’t feel like doing anything else. Last week I happened to look for a book to read and got caught up in it ALL WEEK LONG during my hours I was going to give to the Lord!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??!!

As it turned out, the very HOLY WEEK came and went without me giving the Lord very much attention at all, at least not the attention I had planned on giving HIM! I felt AWFUL!

You see, we can get side-tracked. We can get interrupted. We can put GOD on a shelf or cast aside. As bad as that sounds!

We must be more aware of the atmosphere and distractions that try and keep us involved with other things than what we intend to happen when we want to give GOD our time and attention! The devil will NOT sit back and allow us to do this without a fight or interruptions! He is clever and sneaky. He will make it attractive, or appear necessary, or even ‘an in the moment’ thing.

When we decide we are going to give the Lord a specific time we MUST be prepared and ready for these distractions or even the “I changed my mind” kind of thing! We cannot let him win!! GOD wants us and wants us to PRESS and SEEK HIM!! WE NEED THESE MOMENTS with HIM!! They will let us hear from HIM, let us KNOW HIS WILL, DRAW US CLOSER, and KEEP US FROM EVIL! HE WILL HEAR OUR CRIES, STRUGGLES and PAIN and WRAP HIS LOVING ARMS AROUND US and GIVE US PEACE, STRENGTH, HEALINGS and MIRACLES! We must take these special times with HIM!! WE NEED IT and HE WANTS US!

The next time you/I set ourselves to spend time with the Lord, let us be Cautious and Mindful NOT to PUT GOD on the SHELF!! HE deserves so much more than that! Don’t you agree??!!

　

 

TUESDAY PRAYER BLESSING

I pray that you all are having a wonderful day and that you have all your needs met and supplied! I pray that the Lord is your resource today for your finances, jobs, favor and health. I pray that you have your GOD MOMENTS and that you see HIS CREATION and MIGHTY WORKS everywhere! I pray that your ANSWERS be Timely and HEARD!! I pray that you feel more LOVE than you have ever experienced in your whole entire life!!! I pray that you have PEACE sweet PEACE every minute! Blessings to ALL

RESURRECTION MORNING!!!

Great Resurrection Morning to you ALL!! Thank GOD!! HE IS RISEN!!!!! JESUS CHRIST has RISEN from the Grave and sits at the Father’s Right Hand in Heaven! HE has made a special place for you and me in Heaven! HE will come back and get us very soon!! Are you Looking for HIS Appearing from the Eastern Sky??!! If you have not made Jesus Christ Lord of your Life, then why not today? Best decision you will ever make. It could even be the BEST LAST DECISION you ever make! CELEBRATING JESUS today and hopefully everyday! Have a very BLESSED Resurrection Day!

“GOOD FRIDAY”

“Good Friday” Morning to Everyone! This day is mixed with all kinds of emotions! This is the day we celebrate the Suffering and Death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Although we should be thinking of this day everyday, because without it we would not be REDEEMED/Saved! It was the shedding of HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD that sets me free and I am FORGIVEN of all my sins I have ever committed! So this is a sad day because of the Pain and Suffering HE had to endure. But it is a Joyous day too, because it made a way for me! The Best Day is Resurrection Morning when HE has RISEN!! So our Emotions are all over the place this weekend! Regardless, I am so Grateful to Jesus Christ for Saving me, Sanctifying Me and Filling me with the Holy Ghost!! I am now on my way to Heaven! Try to attend a Good Friday church service or at least spend some time on your own with Jesus and thanking HIM for HIS sacrifice HE made for You and Me! Have a very Blessed Day!

BROKEN HEARTS AND STARS

In my Bible Reading this morning in Psalms 147: 3-4, I find it interesting that the Lord mentions in verse 3; He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, then in verse 4; He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. A GOD who is so concerned about our broken hearts and is still a GOD who is so infinite, that He has NUMBERED every STAR and called EACH by NAME!

Have you recently looked up in the sky on a clear night? Can you count the stars and do you know their names? Even with the most advanced telescope at the Planetarium, could you? They have a name! It was so important to GOD to NAME them. I have also heard that new stars are always popping up, so HE is STILL at it!

When you are hurt and brokenhearted and you think NO ONE CARES, well I can PROMISE you GOD CARES!!! Says so in HIS Holy Word! HE will bind up your wounds! HE will bring Healing to your broken heart, after all, HE CREATED it in the first place and KNOWS EVERY SHATTERED PIECE!!!

I want to encourage you today, to TRUST in the Lord, with ALL your Hurt and Pain!! If the STARS are that important to HIM, then HOW MUCH MORE are YOU!! Let HIM bring Your Healing TODAY! Fall into the Lord’s Loving Arms and let Him bring Comfort and Restoration to You!

 

DON’T STOP PRAISING THE LORD!!!

I have been reading in the Book of Psalms and I am amazed at how many scriptures are referenced in songs or that songs were written from this book, which is funny considering the whole book is just that! It is a book of songs, oracles, and recitations. When I am reading the scriptures and it tells me that this one is sung to the tune of ….. Or that it is played with certain instruments, I just wish I could have heard them the way the Authors wrote them or sung them or played them. How awesome would that be! Still, we have song writers today using these scriptures in there songs and I recognize them! Remember some of these:

“If it had not been for the Lord on my side,” (Ps 124:1)

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go to the House of the Lord.” (Ps 122:1)

“Direct (Order) my steps by Your Word,” (Ps 119: 133)

“The stone the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” (Ps 118:22)

“He sent His Word and Healed them.” (Ps 107:20)

“ O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His Mercy endures forever. Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so,” (Ps 107: 1-2)

Finally, this one, “Bless the Lord, O My Soul; And all that is within me, Bless His Holy Name,” (Ps 103: 1)

There are too many to list them all here, but just read the scriptures and see for yourself.

The one scripture I want to highlight today is one that has really jumped out at me: Psalms 113:3 From the rising of the sun to its going down the Lord’s name is to be praised.

We are never to stop Praising HIS Name the whole time we are awake! Can’t stop!! Can’t STOP Praising His Name, JESUS! (Another song!)

What if we did just that? What if we Praised HIM without stopping. Can we do that? Can there always be a PRAISE in our Mind, our Lips, our Hearts?

I want to PURPOSE in my HEART to be more conscious of Praising the Lord! HE is WORTHY of all Praise and Glory! Scripture tell us that they continuously Praise the Lord in Heaven. It NEVER stops. Shouldn’t we Praise without ceasing? All of Creation Praises HIM! The trees whisper their Praise, the birds sing their Praise, HE even tells us if we do NOT Praise HIM, HE will command the rocks to Praise Him! I DO NOT want a rock taking my PLACE!! So I need to Kick it in Gear and start Praising HIM MORE!! How about YOU?!

LORD, I GIVE YOU ALL PRAISE AND GLORY!!! I LIFT YOUR NAME ABOVE ALL OTHER NAMES!! HOLY! HOLY! HOLY! ARE YOU! YOU ARE HOLY!! BLESS THE LORD!! BLESS HIS HOLY NAME!! I LIFT UP HOLY HANDS IN PRAISE TO YOU! PRAISE THE LORD!! PRAISE the SWEET NAME OF JESUS!! MY LORD AND SAVIOR, MY REDEEMER!

What do you say Folks? WE NEED TO PRAISE HIM AND NOT STOP!

 

MAKE A DIFFERENCE TUESDAY

Good Morning! Today is my 6 month mark for reading my Bible in a year. I am 74 pages behind schedule. Need to pick up the pace. I am in Psalms right now and I am amazed at how many songs or sentences of songs are from these scriptures! Every time I read one I think, that is a song! I know that song! Some of the scriptures is what I recite before my Bible Reading time. How great to KNOW the scriptures that well, that we are so familiar with them, we recognize the phrases and remember them. My Book of Psalms is very Lit UP!! (Highlighter, that is!). I pray your Tuesday is filled to the Max with an Uplifting Atmosphere, Surrounded by Love and Kindness, Empowered by Strength and Courage from the Holy Spirit, Healed in MIND, BODY and SOUL and Shouting the Victory all day LONG!! May your BLESSINGS OVERFLOW to ALL aound you! Let’s make a difference today in someone’s LIFE!!

AWESOME MONDAY!

FINISH FRIDAY STRONG

Good Morning! OK Maybe we didn’t finish this week strong, but we still have today to turn things around!! Let’s get MOTIVATED!! Start working on those Self-Control issues, one issue at a time! I started on one this morning! Prayer after Bible Reading! I talk to the Lord all day long, but don’t have that “Prayer Closet” time! That is what I am working on now. Giving the Lord the first 10% of my day! I want to be as disciplined in my Prayer Life as I am in My Bible Reading! How about you? Lord I pray for my Family and Friends to have a very BLESSED, PROTECTED, GOD-INSPIRED, HEALED, HILARIOUSLY-FUN LOVING DAY!! May it be the BEST MOST MEMORABLE DAY EVER!! Love to ALL
